Enjoy traditional African music from the Justine Nantale Band
Ugandan native, Justine Nantale, leads her band in traditional African songs from a variety of African countries.
With talented musicians from Uganda, Congo, Nigeria and Ireland, the Justine Nantale Band approach all their performances with energy and an authentic African flavour.
The band will have you dancing and singing… perhaps even in a couple of African languages!
About Justine Nantale
Justine is an experienced facilitator and musical artist and teacher based in Dublin. She is also a founding member of the Discovery Gospel Choir and was its Musical Director in 2007/8.
She has been involved in community work since she came to Ireland 10 years ago. She is passionate about integration, development aid and trying to make a real difference in our world.
Justine has performed for developmental organisations such as AFRI (Action from Ireland), and Trócaire. She has performed with various musical artists: Mary Byrne at the Queen’s visit in the Conventional Centre, Foy Vance on The Late Late Show, Sinead O’Connor at the Meteor Ireland Awards, and Blind Boys of Alabama in the National Concert Hall with the Discovery Gospel Choir.
